If you would like to participate, please DM your name, email address, and contact number. Spots are limited and will be filled first come first served.

~He'eia Fishpond~
"Located in Heʻeia on the island of Oahu, Heʻeia Fishpond is a kuapā-style fishpond enclosing 88 acres of brackish water.  The kuapā (wall) is built on Malaukaʻa, a fringing reef and extends away from the shoreline, comepletly encircling the fishpond.  Built approximately 600-800 years ago by the residents of the area, the kuapā is possibly the longest in the Hawaiian Islands measuring an estimated 1.3 miles (7,000 feet)."

Saturday, December 4th 8:30am-11am at Kaena Point
Ka'ena is the site of one of the last intact dune ecosystems in the main Hawaiian  Islands. Many native plants and animals call this unique place home. Kaʻena is a  culturally significant place, or a wahi pana. Hawaiians depended on the resources  Kaʻena had to offer. This coastal landscape changed over time, but today this  unique learning experience engages participants with a coastal habitat through  volunteer service. Participants will learn about the history of this wahi pana, the  current research projects at Ka'ena, and ways they could protect this special place.
What will we be doing:
• Hiking in a coastal area, exposed to the sun, on rocky, muddy and sandy terrain • Flora and Fauna observations with State Parks staff
• Picking up marine debris along the way to the work site for invasive removal
Logistics:
Ka'ena is on the Western most point on O'ahu. Access will be via the north  entrance at the Mokuleiʻa section of Kaʻena State Park in Waialua, HI. Follow  Farrington Hgwy. north until the end of the road. Youʻll come to a yellow gate and  see a dirt parking lot. Work will be in the state park. Your group could hike to the  point on your own afterwards. The point is a Natural Area Reserve, a 5mi round  trip hike. The terrain is rocky and sandy, or muddy when it rains. The trail  traverses along the coast and is exposed to the sun without any opportunities for  shade. There are no restrooms or running water along the trail or at trail head.
Agenda: 12/04/2021
• Orientation: 8:30am
• Hike to work site: 8:45-9:15am
• Invasive removal: 9:15-10:30/11:00am
• Pack up, Pau! (hike out or to the point): 10:30/11:00am
Packing and Safety:
Wear: Cleaned, covered shoes (required) with good tread, pants Bring: At least 2L of water, snacks, medications, and reef safe sunscreen  Note: Staff is trained in First-Aid and CPR. It is important to inform staff of any  medical conditions and allergens that may potentially require emergency medical  attention, as Kaʻena is a semi-remote park that may take a while for help to arrive.  Trip cancellation may occur based on inclement weather, emergencies, or projects. Face masks recommended when gathered together, and when passing other  hikers. Youth must be supervised at all times. All participants must bring signed  Liability Release Waivers on day of trip, and verify COVID-19 Vaccination with your  leader before participating on service trip.

Project Hawaii - Angel Tree 2021
It's that time of year again!  The Arch Project Hawaii is humbled to continue our relationship with Project Hawaii with providing Christmas gifts for underserved homeless children.

"Project Hawai'i Inc. is an award-winning volunteer staffed non-profit organization that has been supporting the needs of our island's homeless children since 2003.
We were established to be completely staffed by volunteers to create the community involvement to make change. We have over 200 volunteers across the 3 islands to help provide year round support to over 1,600 homeless children.

We continue to be solely supported by public donations, family foundations, and community partnerships to run all our programs. 100% of all YOUR donations are utilized to provide the stability for each child as they continue through our programs on their road to success. Feel the love of saving a homeless child today and become part of the Project Hawai'i 'ohana!"

Starting Dec. 6 you can find an Angel Tree at Oahu Bouldering in Waipio and HiClimb in Kakaako.  Each tree will have ornaments with a child's name and their wish.  Please consider sponsoring a child this year.  These past couple of years have been tough on us all and even more so to those without a place to call home.  Mahalo to everyone who has sponsored before and Mahalo to those sponsoring this year.

Waimea Valley on Sunday, November 21
Thank you to our amazing volunteers and to @waimeavalleyoahu for having us!

Invasive plants and vines are a detriment to the Endemic flora cultivated and cared for at Waimea Valley.  The work to clear the area is an ongoing chore throughout the valley and due to the location of rare plants, requires careful hands and group effort instead of machinery.
We spent the day uncovering the rocks hiding behind the thick vines! It seemed like the vines would never end, but before we knew it, we uncovered a huge area of rocks. We are thankful for all of you! We are thankful for the opportunity to give back to this beautiful place! Join us for our next event!

As always, it was not just a day of work but a day of learning and reward as we saw the immediate result of our teamwork.
Thank you to the volunteers that spent their Sunday morning with us. We appreciate all of you! It was wonderful to see your masked faces!

Up above Kapolei and Makakilo sits Camp Palehua or if you were one of the fortunate kids to go up there in the Hanabada Days you would remember it as Camp Timberline.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support the conservation efforts at Camp Palehua. Under the supervision of their conservation manager, Mashuri Waite, we worked to clear invasive Guinea grass encroaching on an area of 'Ilima and Alahe'e. He took every opportunity to educate us on the species of endemic flora we were helping. Our efforts will provide a better chance of survival and continued resoration of native plants and trees in the area.
Mahalo to the volunteers that answered the call. We hope you found your time spent as fulfilling, educational, and fun as we did

Our volunteers arrived early at Waimea Valley ready to help clear invasive plants and to especially help with the very special Native Plant area within the park.  Careful attention and nimble hands peeled away choking vines and non endemic species.  This was one of our most special volunteer events this year and we look forward to continue with our relationship with Waimea Valley.

Waahila Ridge UPDATE -  Feb. 28, 2021

We made it back to pick up and truck off the bundles we had to leave behind on Feb. 21st.  A small group of members and volunteers with the help of a donated truck ( Thanks Eric!) got the remaining bags off of the ridge.  The amount of trash around the ridge and trail is still extensive.  One need only look off to the sides of the trail to see several mounds of rubbish that have accumulated over time.  We ask the community that if you decide to hike or climb the areas that have been cleared to be mindful of your own rubbish and to bring up a small trash bag to do a little bit of pick-up yourselves.  A little bit does go a long way in this instance.  Over time the surrounding area can be enjoyed safely and in the natural condition it was meant to be.  Aloha to all!

Waahila Ridge

Volunteers came to try to tackle some of the rubbish that has accumulated on Waahila Ridge in Manoa.  Many of the rock outcroppings and small caves were used as shelter by homeless / houseless individuals.  Now that most of the homeless have either gotten some help or moved elsewhere, the old belongings, clothes, tarps, beds, and rubbish had remained and is in need of clearing.
Other groups such as Kanaka Climbers have cleared some areas and did an excellent job.  We went and cleared as much as we could as well and focused on two sites.  Our small group was able to haul down approximately 20 large contractor bags, which filled our volunteer pickup truck twice and taken to the municipal dump in Kailua
(Mahalo to the Ross Ohana).  There is still so much more that we bundled and piled together and SO much more that were unable to get to due to time.
Waahila Ridge is becoming a known area to enjoy a short hike or to try some of the Bouldering that a few climbers have developed there.  We humbly ask for your Kokua to be mindful of your rubbish and to bring an extra rubbish bag with you to help clean the area up after your hike or climb and to always, wherever you go in nature, to leave it better than you found it.

We are tentatively planning a Saturday Feb 27th excursion to bring down the remaining bags and bundles.

Saturday, December 19 from 8 am to 11 am

Beach/crag beautification day! We'll be going along the brush, beach, and crag to collect trash. Buckets, gloves (please bring your own gloves, these will be provided if you don't have any of your own), trash pickers, and hand sanitizer will be provided for our volunteers. Be sure to come with plenty of water, sunblock, and your climbing gear if you choose to hangout to climb after the cleanup.

Keep in mind, due to Covid-19 and state-mandated Covid-19 policies, a face-mask will be required along with a minimum of 6 feet social distancing from other volunteers that are not from within your household. Look for our set up on the grassy side near the lifeguard stand. See you all there!

UPDATE
Mahalo to all that showed up for our last cleanup of 2020.  With your help we were able to pick up approximately 140lbs of rubbish along the brush and rock walls around beach.
Unfortunately there was some graffiti that was spray painted across some of the cliff faces that we were not equipped to clean at that time.  Defacing such a beautiful area that is beloved by so many people is very disappointing.  It isn't the first time it has happened nor probably the last.
Those of us who truly care about the Aina will continue to do our part by being true stewards.

Although 2020 has thrown a wrench into everybody's engine affecting work, studies, and free time the desire to give back is strong.  TAP (The Arch Project Hawaii) coordinated with Waimea Valley to volunteer with helping clean and remove invasive plants and to also put some work at the Kauhale to get it ready for their upcoming Makahiki.

Groups were separated, everyone wore PPE and followed protocols to keep everyone safe.  The feedback from the event was generous and uplifting.  We were proud to have such great volunteers to help with a very special place on our island home.

The top questions/concerns that we were able to tackle were:
1. Climbing and Covid-19
2. Climbing grades in Hawaii, sandbagged or soft?
3. What is the Access situation with climbing in Hawaii?
4. Why was the Kanaka climbers group created and what are it's goals?

This initial Community QnA went well and we are all looking forward to the next one.  If you missed the zoom session we will be streaming it in 3 parts within the next week.  Announcement will be made on The Arch Project's Instagram page.

Aloha climbers, campers, and friends who care - this is the FOURTH year of this event provide meals to those who are not fortunate enough to have a place or family in Oahu to go to.

The first year our goal was to make 100-150 Thanksgiving Sandwich Meals, and we made and served almost 350 people! The next year we hoped for 500, and we served over 600 people! Last year, we held a fundraiser through the Reel Rock film tour and raised $2000 and served over 1100 people. This year we raised almost $5000 and I have high hopes that we will go beyond that number and can truly make sure than no one in Oa...hu is hungry on Thanksgiving day due to your generosity and the help of all the volunteers who cook, prepared, and serve our community.

Again, this year the goal is to make Thanksgiving meals that are simple to make, nutritious, and environmentally friendly (*it is not illegal to feed homeless in Honolulu like it is in Chicago and LA) - here's the menu:

1. Hot turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy
2. Dessert
3. Apple or Orange
4. Boxed juice or bottled water
5. Personal hygeine goods (toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand sanitizer, razors, feminine goods, etc...)
6. Pet food

We will be doing things a little differently to make the packing process more efficient - and we need your help!

Throughout the week before Thanksgiving, we will be using The Arch Project Climbing Center as a central drop-off and pick-up point for donated ingredients (see below how you can help!). All cooked or prepared meal components should be brought to the gym the day before Thanksgiving and volunteers will assemble the meals and pack the bags.

On Thanksgiving we will distribute the meals in the morning and early afternoon before people go to their own families for dinner. The goal is to quietly find those in need around our city and focus on taking the time to safely distribute food and listen to what people need.

HOW YOU CAN BE PART OF THIS PROJECT:

1. DONATE FOOD OR HYGEINE ITEMS! - join the event and post a message to commit to a cooking donation or ingredient drop off! We post needs and take donations up until the morning of the deliver, but the earlier we have an inventory the more we know what we need.

2. HELP US COOK AT HOME! - we will distribute dry ingredients for the meals that need to be cooked or prepared that week and brought back to the gym the day before Thanksgiving so that we can pack the meals!

3. ASSEMBLE AND PACK! - we will be meeting at The Arch Project Climbing Center to assemble the meals and pack the bags at 6:00pm on Wednesday 11/22.

4. DELIVER ALOHA! - we invite you, friends, and family in helping us spread aloha across the island to Oahu's houseless population by sharing these meals with them.

DONATION LIST NEEDS:
1. Roast Turkey Meat (Costco whole roasted Turkey Breasts work great!)
2. Stuffing mix
3. Gravy mix
4. Cranberry sauce (canned)
5. Mashed potatoes
6. Dessert Bar mix
7. Fresh Fruit (apples, bananas, oranges)
10. Recycled brown paper lunch bags
11. Boxed juices or bottled water
12. Ziploc bags (sandwich sized)
13. Large garbage bags
14. Bread
15. Butter
16. Chicken broth
17. Aluminum foil sheets
18. Plastic wrap
19. Cardboard boxes to hold the bags
20. Long folding tables (borrow for prep night)
21. Large coolers (borrow for prep night)
22. Hygeine items - tooth brushes, travel size toothpaste/deodorant, razors, etc.

**Donations of any travel sized personal health care items, snacks, or children's items (toys, clothes) would also be greatly appreciated

*I'll also be getting dog and cat food to feed pets that belong to the homeless as well but you can help donate this too!

Project #15  Waimea Bay Clean Up

Picture
WHAT: The Arch Project Hawaii is super excited to announce our 15th project. For this event we are partnering with Out On The Rocks, an organisation on island with a mission to improve the physical and mental health of lgbt/queer people in the state of Hawaii through participation in rock climbing and to create and foster an environment within the climbing community at large that is safe and affirming for all people.

To help kick off Honolulu Pride week (which runs from October 14-October 22 for Oahu) with some aloha and community service we will be doing a clean up of Waimea Bay Beach. For many of the people in our community who climb outdoors Waimea Bay is where we cut our teeth on real rock. Because the beach is such so stunningly beautiful and gets such heavy traffic, it an also get loaded up with trash. So we’ll be doing our part to help with some aloha ‘aina to help give back to a place that has given so much to many of us. Out On The Rocks will also be marching in the Pride Parade on the morning of October 21st and anyone is more than welcome to join! Check out their website for more info (www.outontherocks.com)

WHEN: Saturday, October 14th @8:00am-12:30pm

WHERE: Waimea Bay Beach Park Is located at 61-31 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712

WHO: Anyone willing and able climbers and non-climbers!

DETAILS: We'll be getting to Waimea Bay early in the morning to beat out the traffic and crowds. We'll go through the parking lot, the grassy areas and then work our way down along the beachfront and cliffs for trash. This clean up also does not offer trash pick up so we will be hauling the trash to the dump ourselves (located in Wahiawa). If any of our volunteers have trucks and don't mind helping with the trash removal, it will be greatly appreciated and we'll be providing tarps to protect the bed.

Suggested attire will be light, sun protective wear, covered footwear, beach wear and sandals for later. If you have your own garden gloves or other trash picking up tools please feel free to bring them along.  We will be providing trash bags, buckets and basic latex gloves.

Afterwards we will be enjoying everything the beach and sun has to offer so make sure to pack for some climbing and the beach! We will be barbecuing some hot dogs and providing refreshments and snacks after the cleanup so please RSVP so we have a headcount and know how much food and refreshments to bring. Feel free to bring food for yourself if hot dogs are not in your diet!

PARKING is available at Waimea Bay itself, or in the event the lot is already full there is limited street parking on the Haleiwa side of of Kam highway. Additional parking is available for a fee at St. Peter and Paul's church or Waimea Valley.

Where: Volcanic Rock Gym  201 Kapaa Quarry Pl, Building #25, Kailua, HI 96734

Project #13 Ho'ola Na Pua Site Clean Up

Picture
What:  Although this cleanup is not our usual crag cleanup, it's something we believe in and are super excited to be a part of. Project # 12
Anniversary Silo Clean Up!!!

Picture

WHAT: The Arch Project is officially almost 1 year old! We'd like to celebrate our up coming anniversary by revisiting our first official clean up site, the Silos! A year ago there were multiple abandoned homeless encampment. With a team of just 9 and permission from the church, we hauled out 2 truck loads of tarp, tent, cooler, and loads of trash and made the dump runs ourselves. This time around we're teaming up with members of the church who have done some gardening and need our help to clear out the yard waste and trash that was left hidden among the over grown brush. It'll be a bit of work again but with more helping hands, we'll knock it out in no time and will have plenty of time to climb!

WHEN: Saturday, July 22nd @8:30am-12:00pm

WHERE: The Silos located behind St. Peter and Pauls' Mission Church at 59 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712 (see map below)

WHO: Anyone willing and able!

DETAILS: The approach for the Silo is pleasantly short but does have some over grown California grass and is surrounded by a lot of brush and trees. Most of the trash will be found near the entrance and towards the first set of boulders. The rest of the trail is on trickier terrain (we will be advising those who are unsure about their hiking and physical abilities to proceed past the first boulders, there will be some scrambling involved) and have less trash to clean out. Because of the lack of foot traffic, we'd like to reestablish the current trail and make it more visible by clearing out unwanted California grass and invasive brush along with tagging it. This clean up also does not offer trash pick up so we will be hauling the trash to the dump ourselves (located in Wahiawa). If any of our volunteers have trucks and don't mind helping with the trash removal, it will be greatly appreciated and we'll be providing tarps to protect the bed.

The Silos is known to have mosquitoes and can be quite humid, suggested attire will be light hiking pant, long sleeve, and hiking shoes. Other things to bring if available are garden gloves, change of clothes (for climbing), swim wear and flip flops  (if you choose to enjoy the rest of your day at the beach) and plenty of drinking water.

We will be providing trash bags, mosquito repellent, mosquito punks, trimming tools, and buckets for trash. If you have your own garden tools that can be useful for cutting down small branches or removal of grass, rakes, or dust pan, please bring them along with tools for picking up trash if you don't have gloves and don't want to use your hands.

We will be barbecuing some hot dogs and providing refreshments and snacks after the cleanup, so please RSVP below so we have a head count and know how much food and refreshments we should bring. Feel free to bring food for yourself if hot dogs are not in your diet!

***PARKING will be at the back of the church. When you arrive let the guard know your with us! Parking may be limited so carpooling is encouraged!

*** As much as we love seeing our keiki's volunteer we will be asking parents to no bring the children to the clean up because of possible sharp tools and objects at this clean up. Thank you.

Book with us today!

WHEN: June 25th Sunday @12pm

PROJECT # 10
Angels and More Trail Day!

Picture
WHAT: It'll be a trail maintenance/cleanup day for some little gems located at the entrance of Kaena Point. There's some overgrown California grass and other invasive shrubberies along the trail leading to the Angels, Ice Berg, Bitch Blocks and other boulders. Most of the trash if found around the parking lot and beginning of the trail and the rest we'll be cutting down some grass for a more pleasant hiking experience! And of course a climbing session will be a must!

WHEN: May 20th Saturday @9am

WHERE: The boulders are located at the end of the road off of Farrington Highway. Parking is anywhere where the road ends before the gate to Kaena Point. We'll have our banner set up on the right parking area so you can't miss us!

WHO: Anyone that wants to help! Kids are welcomed but because of dangerous tools being used for trail maintenance please keep them close to you at all times. This is state property and a bird sanctuary so for those with four legged furry children, we apologize but need to ask you to have your dogs sit this one out.

DETAILS: The trash on this trail is located mostly at the parking and trail head. Although there is public trash bins located at the trail head there is still evident trash all over the parking area. We'd like to cleanup those areas then do them trail maintenance.

Because this is an early to noon clean up with overgrown California grass and no coverage from the sun, we suggest our volunteers to wear light long hiking pants, light long sleeve (change of clothes for after clean up if you choose to climb or hit the beach), sunblock, sunglasses, hat, hiking shoes, lots of water and garden gloves. Other things that could be used at this clean up are rakes, dust pan, weed eater, alternative tools for cutting grass (machete) and tools for trash pick up and a beach chair for hanging out afterwards. We will be providing trash bags, buckets, tents, refreshments and snacks.

As much as we love to see kids involved with community services, we suggest you do not bring your children at this event because of the possible danger of being close to the road and tools being used. If you do decide to bring your children, please be sure to keep them close to you at all times. Also, like our last event, this is state property and a bird sanctuary so please do NOT bring your dogs. As per DLNR, this is a "no dogs" area. As always, access in Hawaii is a delicate situation. Mahalo for your understanding and cooperation.

PROJECT #9
GREEN BOULDERS CLEANUP/ TRAIL MAINTENANCE

Picture
WHAT: We are going to redefine and re-mark the trail to the Green Boulders along with taking care of the limbs that are currently hanging over the Green Boulder. We'll also clean up the area near the beginning of the trail (old tires, etc.). If anyone has a gas powered trimmer (i.e., weed eater) or a chain saw that we could use let us know! We'll also be bringing out some crash pads so when we're done cleaning we'll  of course have an epic climbing session at the boulders!

WHEN: March 12th, 2017 - 9:00am-12:00pm

WHERE: The trail head is located off of Farrington Highway, past Dillingham Airfield and before the YMCA. For those who have not been to The Green Boulders before, we'll be set up in front of the trail head across Mokuleia beach with The Arch Project banner, so keep a look out for us! There will be a lot of parking along both sides of the road. (see map below)

WHO: Calling all climbers and hikers (ANYONE really who wants to help with the cleanup!)

DETAIL: With a lot of overgrown california grass and mosquitoes we highly advise long hiking pants, light long sleeve shirt, gardening gloves, hat or sunglasses, sunblock and hiking shoes. It'll be an all morning to afternoon affair, so bring plenty of water and snacks along with your climbing gear if you plan on sticking around. We will be providing some supplies such as trash bags, buckets, mosquito repellent, mosquito punks, and refreshments. If you have your own gloves, buckets or other cleaning supplies don't hesitate to bring them along. If anyone has a gas powered weed whacker, trimmer or chain saw that they could bring that would be much appreciated. Feel free to bring out other alternative cutting tools for grass and branches, such as a machete as long as your experienced to handle it with care. The location will be across from the beach, so we'll also be bringing out a grill for those who want to hang out and pot luck for a lunch break at the beach before climbing, so bring out your swimsuits as well!

Because of the location (along the highway and off) and dangerous tools that will be handled, as much as we love to see kids involved with community services, we are not encouraging any children at this event because of the possible danger from being close to the road and tools being used. If you do decide to bring your children, please be sure to keep them close to you at all times. Also, unlike most of our events, please do NOT bring your dogs to this event. As per DLNR, this is a "no dogs" area. As always, access in Hawaii is a delicate situation. Mahalo for your understanding and cooperation.

Project #6
Help Serve Honolulu's Homeless - La Ho'omaika'i Food Drive
Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day

Picture
WHAT: This is the THIRD year of this event provide meals to those who are not fortunate enough to have a place or family in Oahu to go to.
WHEN: Nov 23, 2016 @ 6:00pm (cooking and prep), Nov 24, 2016 @ 8:00am-2:00pm for packing and distribution
WHERE: Cooking and prep @ TAP House (Email for address)
WHO: The Arch Project Hawaii members, and other community volunteers

The first year our goal was to make 100-150 Thanksgiving Sandwich Meals, and we made and served almost 350 people! Last year we hoped for 500, and we served over 600 people! This year I have high hopes that we will go beyond that number and can extend our Aloha outside of Honolulu towards Waianae and Waimanalo due to your generosity and the help of all the volunteers who cook, prepared, and serve our community.

2. Pumpkin Pie Bar or Muffin
3. Apple or Orange
4. Boxed juice or bottled water
5. Personal hygeine goods (toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand sanitizer, razors, feminine goods, etc...)
6. Pet food

The plan would be to make meals on Wednesday, the 11/23 evening and 11/24 morning and distribute the meals in the early afternoon on Thanksgiving 11/24 before people go to their own families for dinner.

The population and distribution has changed slightly, again the goal is to quietly find those in need around our city and focus on taking the time to safely distribute food and listen to what people need.

If you want to help you can join for any part of the project -

1. Donations - join the event and post a message to say what you can bring or drop off (2881 Pacific Heights Road). Feel free to donate uncooked ingredients or if you want to donate whole dishes that's great too! If you are going to donate please let me know by 11/18 I will be starting to do shopping to get ingredients that might sell out quickly for the season.
2. Cooking - join the event and indicate if you can come on Wednesday night or Thursday morning to help cook and pack meals!
3. Feed - join the event and indicate if you can come on the runs to feed the homeless. The distribution time will be approximately between 11:00pm-3:00pm on 11/24 (Thursday). We will make a loop from Kewalos to Ala Moana, distribute meals, spend some time with the people we're helping, put up temporary garbage bins and collect the garbage/recycling.

DONATION LIST NEEDS:
1. Roast Turkey Deli Meat
2. Stuffing mix
3. Gravy mix
4. Cranberry sauce (canned)
5. Mashed potatoes
6. Pumpkin pie or muffinmix
7. Fresh Fruit (apples, bananas, oranges)
10. Recycled brown paper lunch bags
11. Boxed juices or bottled water
12. Ziploc bags (sandwich sized)
13. Large garbage bags
14. Bread
15. Butter
16. Chicken broth
17. Aluminum foil sheets
18. Plastic wrap
19. Cardboard boxes to hold the bags

Anyone that can bring a cooler the day of cooking it would really help out!

Waimea Bay Cleanup

When: Sept 11, 2016 Sunday 8am
Where: Waimea Bay
Waimea Valley Rd, Pupukea, HI 96712
Who: 808 Cleanups and climbers who wanna help

About: Waimea bay is one of Oahu's beloved crag where I can safely say is the first bouldering spot established on the island. Most of us who climb outdoor, has definitely climbed here once or twice. With a  picturesque ambiance of  clear blue ocean, and boulders over soft sand to fall over, attracts many climbers and non-climbers to enjoy this beautiful bay. Like many of our popular coastlines and shore, trash are left behind by our less considerate visitors of Waimea bay, so here's to another cleaning and climbing sesh with the help of supplying our cleaning tools, 808 Cleanups! Hope to see everyone out there!
